Update From Layne

Hello everyone,

Thank you for your patience—it took a little time to get this site up and running, but I’m grateful to finally share an update now that we’re live.

First, some incredibly good news. My wife has fully recovered from her breast surgery, and all her follow-up checkups have come back clear. We’re beyond thankful for that blessing.

As for me, I finished six months of chemo in March and had Whipple surgery in May. At my recent appointment, my oncologist told me I’m cancer-free and officially part of the “1% club.” Hearing those words was overwhelming in the best way possible, and I’m still taking it all in.

To everyone who prayed for us, checked in, or supported us through the highs and lows—thank you. And most importantly, I thank God for keeping me here with a purpose: to help others who are facing the same fight. Cancer changes life in ways big and small, and I’m still learning how to navigate this new chapter that comes after treatment.

If you have questions about your own journey, don’t hesitate to reach out—maybe we can find answers together. I’m looking forward to meeting new people, sharing stories, and building a community that lifts one another up.

Thank you all,

Layne
